Covid-19 Pre-screening: Prior to and at the time of your appointment:
- All patients and staff are required to use the Covid-19 Self-Screening tool before booking or attending an appointment
- this will be reviewed with a staff member a couple days prior to your appointment by phone and again at the time of your appointment
- additional screening questions may also be asked to ensure safety of the staff at Ezentials and the practitioner
- Anyone who is symptomatic and/or does not meet the pre-screening criteria will be asked to leave the clinic, contact 8-1-1 for testing and re-schedule your when it is clinically indicated
Preparation for your appointment:
- You will be asked to attend the clinic no earlier then 5 minutes before your appointment
- You will be expected to bring you own mask, as kindly wear it during your time at the clinic
- Patients will be asked to wash their hands prior to and after their session, following the guidelines outlined by the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOAElectronic forms of payment is encouraged
- please arrange for e-transfers prior to or at the time of you appointment or credit card payments *include your work email for transfers?
- Ensure you are wear lose fitting clothes, nothing that would restricts movement of limbs.
- Please also bring with you any referral letters and x-ray/scans that you may have.
Physical Distancing:
- The waiting room will be arranged in such a way to ensure appropriate physical distancing requirements of 2 meters
- Clients who arrive early will be asked to remain in their cars or outside the prior to their appointment times
- A maximum of one person will be allowed in the waiting room at all times.
- Appointments will be staggered in such as way to ensure appropriate physical distancing requirements
- Patient must arrive unaccompanied unless patient is a minor who requires parent/guardian, or infirm and needs assistance
Strict Cleaning and Hygiene Procedures:
- Patient and Practitioners will wash their hands upon entry and departure with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, followed by thorough drying
- Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also available but is NOT to replace hand washing, only acting as a secondary support
- Face touching avoidance is highly recommended as the coronavirus can be spread by touch if a person has used their hand/s to cover a cough or a sneeze
- Frequently clean and disinfect common areas and high touch surfaces with approved grade disinfectant, at a minimum between each patient
- including but limited to door nobs, light switches, tablets, chairs, stools, table surfaces
- Single use linens and thorough treatment table disinfecting and cleaning
The Use of Personal Protective Equipment:
- Patients must bring and wear their own cloth or paper/disposable (surgical) mask during their time at the clinic. Practitioners will use cloth or paper/disposable (surgical) masks during treatment. Cloth masks will be laundered after each use.
- Practitioners will also be wearing designated work only clothes and shoes
